It's a promo site where you get points for prizes. Hooray for marketing! An online friend asked me to join and I didn't think much of it but after looking at the stuff they gave away, I thought, meh why not? It's in beta so invite only. If you want an invite, just PM me. It reminds me of the video game promo sites that used to be so abundant like SlimeKnights, Hanger G3, Konami Stars...etc. I got a lot of free grub from there so more free grub for things I like is great! The new prizes are all fashion stuff though...:( which I have no clue about xD. I hope they get in more cute novelty flashdrives!

No more oC in English!

I am very sad. Recently the company that makes openCanvas will no longer be translating their software into English. This makes me very sad. Even though I can't draw very well, I had a great time using their software and was looking forward to their next versions.

I'm still going to keep up my help forums for people who need help in oC (usually oC 1) and I will still be adding tones to this account when I can.

Hee hee, you thought I was no longer adding any new tones didn't you? Can't say I blame you since it has been a while. Stuff always gets in the way. Anyways, enjoy the new tones I am uploading over the next few days. If you don't have openCanvas, you can still use the image to make your own tones for whatever program you are using. Just click on the image instead of "Download" and save it.

Hmm new look for deviantart

It's okay I guess. For some reason it kinda looks more fatter and cluttered...I don't like how I can't see new and popular stuff at the same time on the front page.

Parties and stuff

The next convention I will be going to is FanExpo which is hosted by a company called Hobbystar during late August. I don't care much for the company as most of the people that work for it are kind of mean and rude but they do know how to throw a big convention with big name guests (even though they make you pay with blood). I'll be buying more art supplies from a vendor there (if they buy a vendor's space) and I was wondering what kind of tones people like. To be honest, I don't use software for art very much. I use old fashioned mediums like Copic, Neopiko markers, paint etc. not only because there is more of a feel, but it keeps me away from the computer (which I spend too much time on for school, work and procrastination). It costs more sure, but it makes me more serious and also, I don't get bugged by people asking how to pirate programs when I say I don't use them. Don't get me wrong, computer art is great (saves on scanning tweaks and stuff) and I do doodle on the computer from time to time (heck I drew an awesome Sailor Moon pic on Windows 3.11 paint with a mouse) but right now it's not my cup of juice. This is like how I love film photography over digital. Though it's very sad people don't know how to take a centered shot with a film camera.

Anyways Canada Day is coming up and I hope to be able to buy up a butt load of giant sparklers and fireworks! Celebrate with giant BOOM!
